This brand new Snow Goose parka is a little bit of a mystery to us. It appears to be brand new, never before used. It has an absolutely beautiful genuine coyote fur hood ruff in the best condition we’ve ever seen. Rather than a traditional USAP patch, the parka has a US flag patch on the left breast. There is no USAP serial number written on the pocket flap. There is also no reflector on the back of the parka.
Our best guess is that this is an older style of Big Red, created before Canada Goose (then Snow Goose) nailed down what the final look was going to be. Based on the branding and the coyote fur, this parka is from the 1980s- likely the early 80s, as we’ve received traditional-looking Big Red parkas from the mid 80s and onwards.
