Product Description
These heavy-duty Northern Outfitters mountain boots with a thick insulating inner layer will provide protection and comfort in temperatures down to below -20F.
These boots have soles which have become soft and porous, tearing away in chunks on pressure. Some may potentially be in wearable condition, but if not all then at least the majority of them share this problem with the soles. We are selling these boots as souvenirs or collectables, not functional boots that we expect the buyer to be able to wear.
Please see the images for examples of the damage you may expect. The image fair condition boots demonstrate the sort of sole damage that these boots have become prone to.

Antarctic Surplus Guarantee
This website sells parkas, clothing, and gear which have been retired from the United States Antarctic Program. All have seen service in one or more of the three American Antarctic research stations, unless specified otherwise in the product’s description. As such, they will show some degree of wear/tear/use.
We hope our gear will serve you, wherever you are, just as well as it did the scientists, researchers, and support staff who relied on it at the bottom of the world!
