Thick Polar Wool Socks – From South Pole Station

27 in stock

These super-thick wool socks used to be issued to scientists and contractors deploying to deep Antarctic stations. The Antarctic Program decided participants should bring their own socks some time in the early 2000s, and these are some of the last remaining stock, dug up from a cache at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. Guaranteed to keep you warm!
